Mari Newman
While many articles seem to focus on Mari’s "house at the end of the rainbow," I want to bring her art to the forefront. If you find yourself with extra time, just google her name and you will have ample opportunity to read those stories.
We feel fortunate to have her art. Through all that life has thrown her way, she continues to create colorful expressions of her individuality and seemingly boundless imagination. The work is at once simple and complex. Her work has found its way into museums and private collections. She has earned numerous awards and has been the subject of a multitude of publications and interviews. She is listed in Who’s Who in American Art and even Who’s Who in America - but after all is said and done - people know her best for her rainbow house.
So, please take a moment if you are in town, and come in and see her art.
And while I have a moment - I would like to thank her good friend and Minneapolis based novelist, freelance writer and coffee shop merchant, Kyle Radcliffe, for assisting her in making her art available to us
